Urban Biodiversity: A Value to Appreciate

Montréal, Québec

May 21 - 23, 2013

The City of Montréal will be hosting an urban biodiversity event that welcomes both the Canadian and international community to meet and discuss urban biodiversity.

On the agenda are two events, the first is the public event Urban Bidiversity: A Value to Appreciate, bringing together biodiversity and sustainability professionals from across the globe. This conference will highlight best practice case studies, experiences and methods used to value ecosystem services and urban biodiversity. This event is a great opportunity to delve into the urban biodiversity network and meet other organizations engaged with biodiversity management.

ICLEI Canada will be presenting in the session "Mobilizing New Stakeholders".

The second event is the meeting of the Advisory Committee of Cities of the Global Partnership on Local and Sub-national Action for Biodiversity related to the United Nations Convention on Biological Diversity (CBD) taking place on May 23rd. This event is by invitation only.
