The PCP Measures Report is a nationwide survey that documents and measures municipal initiatives to reduce GHG emissions. Each year, ICLEI and FCM ask PCP municipalities to submit information on the different types of initiatives they have undertaken to reduce GHG emissions. These initiatives can range from simple energy efficiency retrofits at municipal facilities to large-scale investments in district energy systems. Participants are asked to submit as much information as possible, including total implementation costs, annual energy and cost savings, and the associated GHG reductions. This information is then compiled into a final report and publically disseminated. Details on costs, energy savings and GHG reductions are discussed across a variety of corporate and community sectors. Informative case studies are also provided along with information on funding, implementation and how to achieve similar results.
