Taking Action to Reduce GHG Emission
The latest National Measures Report is now available!
ICLEI and FCM began the National Measures Report in 2008 to document the types of GHG reduction initiatives being undertaken by local governments in the Partners for Climate Protection (PCP) program and the cumulative impact of these initiatives nation-wide. This special edition of the National Measures Report is dedicated to profiling the successes and experiences of PCP members that have achieved or are nearing completion of Milestone Five—the final milestone in the PCP framework.

The report features a two-page spread for each participating PCP member. The feature spread details two corporate or community sector GHG reduction projects that have been particularly successful or that are a significant source of community pride; as well information on collaborators, steps taken, benefits and results, challenges, and lessons learned. Testimonials from staff and elected officials also provide insights on climate action.
