Join our expanding team

Join the ICLEI Canada team in a senior role that will help advance low-carbon, climate-resilient infrastructure in communities across Canada.

We’ve said it before and we’ll say it again — implementation is not keeping pace with the frequency and severity of climate impacts being felt by communities. In particular, building low-carbon, climate-resilient infrastructure is increasingly urgent to reduce climate risks and improve the resilience of communities all while working towards an equitable net-zero future. We are seeking to fill two senior-level positions that will play key roles in the development of an online Climate Platform to help address this challenge:

  • A Senior Project Manager to guide a multidisciplinary team through the multiphase design and delivery of the online Climate platform
  • A Senior Product Owner to work with and guide the development and mobilization of the Climate platform

This is an exciting opportunity if you are looking to lead a cutting-edge climate project with meaningful outcomes. Visit our website to learn more and apply. Applications will be reviewed on a rolling basis until the positions are filled.

In case you missed it…

We are also seeking a Climate Change Project Manager

We are seeking a Climate Change Project Manager to lead our expanding team of adaptation and resilience professionals in a variety of climate action initiatives. We are accepting applications until the position is filled.

Watch Last Week’s Climate Budgeting Workshop Replay

In this virtual workshop, participants learned about climate budgeting and contemplated how it could advance their community’s climate objectives through interactive exercises.

Read the 4th Building Adaptive and Resilience Communities (BARC) Impact Report

The 4th BARC Impact Report shares insights and priorities that have emerged from our ongoing work to support local adaptation initiatives. It also highlights ways in which the BARC program has helped over 120 Canadian communities prepare for and address the risks of climate change over the past 15 years.

The Canada in a Changing Climate: Synthesis Report is now available

The Canada in a Changing Climate: Synthesis Report’s key conclusions highlight the urgent need for climate action while providing examples of how this can be done. Use the communication toolkit we developed with Natural Resources Canada to share the report and its conclusions broadly and help inspire action.
