Climate Change Project Assistant
ICLEI Canada’s Climate Change Project Assistant will be a key player on our Adaptation team, supporting climate adaptation and resilience-building work through applied research, data analysis, and communications across a variety of programs and projects.
We’re looking for an organized, confident, and detail-driven professional with a can-do attitude and a willingness to chip in and learn. Comfortable in both virtual and in-person settings, they bring energy and adaptability to a hybrid workplace. This role calls for a self-starter motivated to work in the non-profit sector, ready to thrive in a fast-paced, project-driven environment where priorities and projects shift quickly and frequently.
This full-time, two-year term position (with possibility of extension) offers a salary range of $60,000–$75,000 and flexible remote work within Canada. The successful candidate will support our Advancing Implementation Training Initiative (AITI) project team, the Ontario Resource Centre for Climate Adaptation (ORCCA) project team, and additional teams with research, development of tools and resources, and other tasks.
Climate Change Project Coordinator (Two Positions)
ICLEI Canada is seeking two Climate Change Project Coordinators to join our Adaptation team and help drive climate resilience initiatives across the country. Designing workshops, delivering webinars, and developing capacity-building resources, these play key roles in supporting adaptation efforts.
We’re seeking candidates who are skilled communicators, experienced coordinators, and practical problem-solvers and are comfortable rolling up their sleeves—team players who embrace new contexts and challenges. Confident self-starters, detail-oriented and tech-savvy, they know how to organize, influence, and connect across project teams and sectors. If this sounds like you, and you are motivated to work in the non-profit world and energized by fast-moving, project-based work, you’ll excel in this role. We are hiring for two positions.
One-year term position
A full-time, one-year term position (with possibility of extension) with a salary range of $70,000–$85,000 and flexible remote work within Canada. Among a variety of programs and projects, this position will support the coordination of the Advancing Implementation Training Initiative (AITI), by creating tools, resources and workshops to advance capacity development and enhance participant experience.
Two-year term position
A full-time, two-year term position (with possibility of extension) with a salary range of $70,000–$85,000 and flexible remote work within Canada. Among a variety of programs and projects, this position will support the coordination of the Ontario Resource Centre for Climate Adaptation (ORCCA) and its core activities.
