Pour souligner son 30e<\/sup> anniversaire, ICLEI pr\u00e9sente sa nouvelle image de marque mondiale!\u00a0 <\/span><\/p>\n

Les trois formes qui se chevauchent dans le logo repr\u00e9sentent les liens qu\u2019\u00e9tablit ICLEI en tant que principal r\u00e9seau des gouvernements locaux engag\u00e9s \u00e0 soutenir le d\u00e9veloppement durable. Ce logo vise \u00e0 communiquer l\u2019id\u00e9e voulant que nous soyons plus forts lorsque nous associons nos actions locales \u00e0 un mouvement plus important, multipliant ainsi nos connaissances \u00e0 l\u2019\u00e9chelle mondiale.\u00a0

Les couleurs du logo repr\u00e9sentent l\u2019interconnexion entre l\u2019eau, l\u2019air et le climat (bleu), la nature (vert) et les villes (jaune). Nous nous sommes inspir\u00e9s du cercle jaune de notre ancien logo pour donner un look moderne et dynamique \u00e0 la nouvelle marque, qui souligne les 30 ann\u00e9es d\u2019exp\u00e9rience d\u2019ICLEI. <\/span><\/p>\n

To mark the anniversary of our 30th\u00a0<\/span>year, ICLEI is introducing a new global organizational brand!\u00a0<\/p>

\u00a0The three overlapping shapes of the logo represent the connections that ICLEI makes as the leading network for local governments committed to sustainability. It communicates that we are stronger when we connect local actions to a greater movement and amplify our collective learnings worldwide.<\/p>

Showcase cities badge awards<\/span><\/h2>

Last year, 25 Canadian municipalities were selected to join the first Showcase Cities pilot cohort led by the\u00a0Global Covenant of Mayors for Climate and Energy (GCoM) Canada<\/a>. These municipalities received intensive support to help reduce their greenhouse gas (GHG) emissions and adapt to climate change.\u00a0 They worked towards achieving GCoM badges:<\/p>

Mitigation: 1\u00a0\u2013 inventory, 2 \u2013 target, 3 \u2013 plan<\/strong><\/p>

Adaptation: 1 \u2013 assessment, 2 \u2013 goal, 3 \u2013 plan<\/strong><\/p>
