Les inondations, les feux incontr\u00f4l\u00e9s et les vagues de chaleur perturbent la vie des gens, gr\u00e8vent les budgets locaux et menacent les infrastructures essentielles. Aujourd\u2019hui, l\u2019adaptation n\u2019est plus une priorit\u00e9 lointaine, c\u2019est une n\u00e9cessit\u00e9. De nombreuses administrations locales ont d\u00e9j\u00e0 pris des mesures importantes, tandis que d\u2019autres commencent tout juste \u00e0 s\u2019y int\u00e9resser. Fondamentalement, le BARC est une approche flexible en cinq jalons pour la planification et la mise en \u0153uvre de l\u2019adaptation locale. \u00c9labor\u00e9 par ICLEI Canada avec et pour les collectivit\u00e9s canadiennes, il propose une m\u00e9thodologie claire et flexible en cinq jalons pour b\u00e2tir des collectivit\u00e9s adaptables et r\u00e9silientes dans un climat en mutation. Reconnu comme le programme d\u2019adaptation de r\u00e9f\u00e9rence au Canada, le BARC favorise la r\u00e9silience climatique depuis la planification initiale jusqu\u2019\u00e0 la mise en \u0153uvre et au suivi.<\/p>\n<p>Lanc\u00e9 en 2008, le BARC a depuis guid\u00e9 des centaines de municipalit\u00e9s, de gouvernements autochtones et de collaborations r\u00e9gionales dans toutes les provinces et tous les territoires.
