\u00c0 mesure que nous progressons dans notre compr\u00e9hension des changements climatiques et de notre r\u00f4le pour trouver une solution, les strat\u00e9gies locales en mati\u00e8re de changements climatiques ne visent plus que la r\u00e9duction des \u00e9missions ou l\u2019adaptation. L\u2019att\u00e9nuation et l\u2019adaptation sont toutes les deux des facteurs essentiels d\u2019un plan d\u2019action exhaustif en r\u00e9ponse au climat changeant. Ce document d\u00e9crit bri\u00e8vement la planification de l\u2019att\u00e9nuation et de l\u2019adaptation; discute des occasions pour les gouvernements locaux d\u2019int\u00e9grer des efforts d\u2019adaptation et d\u2019att\u00e9nuation; offre des exemples de mesures pour aborder ces deux aspects; et souligne les synergies entre les mesures d\u2019adaptation et d\u2019att\u00e9nuation, ainsi que les \u00e9ventuelles contradictions. L\u2019att\u00e9nuation et l\u2019adaptation ne sont pas mutuellement exclusives.
