Leadership et h\u00e9ritage : guide pour les repr\u00e9sentants \u00e9lus locaux sur les changements climatiques<\/h1>\n

Ce guide, \u00e9labor\u00e9 par ICLEI Canada, vise \u00e0 aider les repr\u00e9sentants \u00e9lus locaux \u00e0 surmonter le d\u00e9fi unique que poseront les changements climatiques au sein de leurs collectivit\u00e9s. Puisqu\u2019ils se trouvent en premi\u00e8re ligne et qu\u2019ils repr\u00e9sentent souvent le volet public de la r\u00e9ponse d\u2019une collectivit\u00e9 \u00e0 l\u2019impact des changements climatiques, les maires et les conseillers municipaux ont un r\u00f4le tr\u00e8s sp\u00e9cial \u00e0 jouer pour pr\u00e9parer une collectivit\u00e9 aux changements climatiques. Ils peuvent agir \u00e0 titre de champions en influen\u00e7ant l\u2019orientation des politiques municipales au palier le plus \u00e9lev\u00e9 et en appuyant les politiques qui permettent au personnel municipal de r\u00e9aliser des progr\u00e8s dans la r\u00e9duction des \u00e9missions de gaz \u00e0 effet de serre et l\u2019adaptation aux impacts des changements climatiques. Cette ressource peut servir d\u2019introduction au r\u00f4le crucial que le leadership politique et la perspective adopt\u00e9e jouent dans les progr\u00e8s de l\u2019action climatique.<\/p>\n
