Votre municipalit\u00e9 s\u2019est dot\u00e9e d\u2019un plan d\u2019adaptation aux changements climatiques. Il est maintenant temps de le mettre \u00e0 ex\u00e9cution. Pour avancer concr\u00e8tement vers leurs objectifs climatiques, les gouvernements locaux ont tout int\u00e9r\u00eat \u00e0 identifier les mesures annuelles \u00e0 mettre en \u0153uvre et \u00e0 en estimer les co\u00fbts. Le nouveau Guide de budg\u00e9tisation climatique du Partenariat de recherche-action pour la carboneutralit\u00e9 municipale (P-RAC) est con\u00e7u pour aider les municipalit\u00e9s canadiennes dans cette d\u00e9marche. Celui-ci s\u2019adresse aux \u00e9lues et \u00e9lus des municipalit\u00e9s, au personnel des collectivit\u00e9s, quel que soit leur niveau de connaissances sur le sujet, ainsi qu\u2019aux organismes et aux groupes de d\u00e9fense communautaires. Il est divis\u00e9 en quatre grandes sections.<\/span><\/p>\n

  1. La section sur le<\/span> tour d\u2019horizon de la budg\u00e9tisation climatique <\/b>pr\u00e9sente la budg\u00e9tisation climatique dans le contexte de ce guide ainsi que l\u2019int\u00e9r\u00eat qu\u2019il peut repr\u00e9senter pour les administrations locales.<\/span><\/li>\n
  2. La section sur le <\/span>panorama actuel<\/b> donne un aper\u00e7u des progr\u00e8s canadiens et internationaux en mati\u00e8re de budg\u00e9tisation climatique et r\u00e9sume les principales conclusions tir\u00e9es de la recherche, des groupes de discussion, des entrevues et des ateliers.\u00a0<\/span><\/li>\n
  3. La section sur le <\/span>processus de budg\u00e9tisation climatique <\/b>passe en revue les principales \u00e9tapes de l\u2019\u00e9tablissement d\u2019un budget climat en s\u2019attardant sur les mesures de gouvernance et sur les consid\u00e9rations entourant sa mise en \u0153uvre par \u00e9tapes. Chaque section \u00e9nonce les enseignements tir\u00e9s par des administrations qui sont des chefs de file, et fournit des exemples et des ressources.<\/span><\/li>\n
  4. La section sur les <\/span>orientations<\/b> traite des plans pour la prochaine phase de la budg\u00e9tisation climatique par les principales organisations, ainsi que des ressources n\u00e9cessaires \u00e0 l\u2019adoption de la budg\u00e9tisation climatique \u2014 avec int\u00e9gration des mesures d\u2019adaptation \u00e0 la cl\u00e9 \u2014 pour un plus grand nombre d\u2019administrations canadiennes.<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ol>\n

    Le P-RAC a \u00e9t\u00e9 mis en place pour aider les municipalit\u00e9s canadiennes \u00e0 surveiller, mesurer et atteindre leurs objectifs de r\u00e9duction des \u00e9missions de gaz \u00e0 effet de serre. Il regroupe l\u2019Universit\u00e9 de Waterloo, ICLEI Canada, les Fonds municipal vert de la F\u00e9d\u00e9ration canadienne des municipalit\u00e9s et ICLEI Canada, ainsi que 11 autres universit\u00e9s canadiennes, 9 autres organismes nationaux et 15 administrations municipales de partout au Canada.<\/p>\n

    The <\/span>Climate Budgeting Guide<\/span><\/i> was created to support Canadian municipalities and local governments in their climate budgeting journey. The guide is designed to help municipal leaders and staff from communities at a range of knowledge levels regarding climate budgeting practices, as well as organizations and advocates in the community. It is divided into four main sections:<\/span><\/p>\r\n

    2. The current landscape <\/b>provides an overview of Canadian and international progress on climate budgeting and summarizes key takeaways from the research, focus groups, interviews, and workshop.<\/span><\/li>\r\n
    3. The climate budgeting process <\/b>walks through the main steps in establishing a climate budget, with a particular emphasis on governance actions and considerations for phased implementation. Each step includes learnings from leading jurisdictions, examples, tips, considerations, and resources.<\/span><\/li>\r\n
    4. Future directions<\/b> discuss plans for the next phase of climate budgeting by key organizations, as well as the resources needed to adopt climate budgeting\u2014and integrate adaptation while doing so\u2014in more Canadian jurisdictions.<\/span><\/li>\r\n<\/ol>\r\n
