Les villes sont souvent aux premi\u00e8res loges pour r\u00e9pondre aux pr\u00e9occupations des r\u00e9sidents concernant les inondations. Face \u00e0 l’augmentation des inondations en lien avec les changements climatiques, de plus en plus de villes sont proactives pour aider leurs r\u00e9sidents \u00e0 comprendre les risques d’inondation et \u00e0 prendre des mesures pour se prot\u00e9ger et prot\u00e9ger leurs biens.<\/p>\n

Soutenir les r\u00e9sidents pendant les inondations : Ce que les municipalit\u00e9s doivent savoir<\/em> est con\u00e7u pour aider les municipalit\u00e9s \u00e0 soutenir les r\u00e9sidents dans leurs projets de construction et de r\u00e9novation r\u00e9silients aux inondations. Ce guide fournit une compilation d’informations pertinentes, met en lumi\u00e8re les initiatives municipales de pr\u00e9vention des inondations existantes au Canada et propose divers points de d\u00e9part pour agir. Il r\u00e9sume \u00e9galement les r\u00e9flexions issues de la revue de la litt\u00e9rature et d’une s\u00e9rie d\u2019entrevues avec 16 municipalit\u00e9s canadiennes, r\u00e9alis\u00e9es dans le cadre de l’\u00e9laboration du guide, afin de faire progresser le d\u00e9bat national sur la r\u00e9silience aux inondations.<\/p>\n

Le projet Cohabiter avec l\u2019eau est d\u00e9velopp\u00e9 et port\u00e9 par Architecture sans fronti\u00e8res Qu\u00e9bec (ASFQ), en collaboration avec le Cit\u00e9-ID LivingLab de l\u2019\u00c9cole nationale d\u2019administration publique et ICLEI Canada.
