City of Waterloo Corporate Climate Change Adaptation Plan

In partnership with Lura Consulting, we worked with the City of Waterloo to develop a Corporate Climate Change Adaptation Plan. The CCCAP focused on things that the City is responsible for – such as City-owned buildings and roads and City-run programs. The work involved the completion of Milestones 1-3 of the BARC program, including identifying climate change impacts, completing a corporate vulnerability and risk assessment, and eventually identifying actions to address priority risks. The Plan includes 39 actions rooted under eight goals, with each action accompanied by an implementation schedule. These schedules outline the scope, lead and supporting Divisions, current practice, timelines, and estimated resource needs for each action.
