Network of innovation
ICLEI Canada works with a wide-variety of stakeholders from across government, industry, academia and the NGO community to build more sustainable, low-carbon, energy efficient, climate-ready communities.
Leaders in the industry
Our long history of innovation, creativity and collaboration in building more sustainable communities has made us leaders in the industry, most notably in:
- Development and implementation of local climate mitigation and adaptation planning frameworks, widely known as PCP and BARC.
- Designing and facilitating multi-sectoral workshops training seminars, and consultations.
- Gathering, inspiring and motivating industry leaders and municipal decision makers through events such as the Livable Cities Forum.
- Developing applied tools, research and strategies to advance municipal climate mitigation and adaptation practice.
