Township of Huron-Kinloss Climate Change and Energy Plan

We are currently working with the Township of Huron-Kinloss to develop a community Climate Change Action Plan. The goals of this initiative are to reduce both corporate and community greenhouse gas emissions, and to adapt to the impacts of climate change. The project will involve the completion of the first three milestones of both the Partners for Climate Protection (PCP) program and the Building Adaptive and Resilient Communities (BARC) program. The project will also include the development of energy maps, which will be completed in collaboration with a GIS specialist. The maps will visually illustrate how buildings and transportation consume energy spatially across the Township.
