Climate Change Adaptation Indicators in OECD Countries
Lessons for CanadaClimate Change Adaptation Indicators in OECD Countries: Lessons for Canada
This project aimed to find indicators that have been developed to monitor and evaluate action on climate change adaptation in countries which are part of the Organization for Economic Co-operation and Development (OECD). Indicators that were found to be applicable to Canada were then categorized in a searchable matrix. Indicators included in the matrix are meant to be used to measure the success or progress of adaptation actions considering their performance in relation to specified expectations, either during implementation or once the action is complete.
The matrix includes 355 indicators from the nine countries that have developed adaptation indicators: Australia (14), Finland (7), France (245), Germany (23), Japan (4), Mexico (4), New Zealand (13), Turkey (22), and the United States (23).
