Equitable Climate Adaptation: Considerations for Local Governments
This resource can act as a helpful complement to the Towards Inclusive Adaptation webinar. It is intended to address the barriers preventing local governments from taking action to support climate change adaptation in a way that centers equity and community engagement. It aims to create both a case for this approach as well as offer tangible, actionable ideas and tools for partners in local government.
Stay in touch
We know that building resilience at the local level takes more than a webinar. Among other things, it takes direct support and nurturing a community of action where learning emerges from local experience and peer exchange. Consider this an invitation to stay in touch!
This initiative was offered through the Green Municipal Fund. Delivered by the Federation of Canadian Municipalities. GMF manages approximately $2.4B in programs funded by the Government of Canada.
