The Business Case for High Performance Housing
Thursday, September 25, 2025 | 2:00 to 3:00 pm ET | Online
What are the costs and long-term savings of net zero buildings? Join us for a deep dive into financial and market-focused insights from a business case project developed through a collaboration between ICLEI Canada, Urban Equation, and members of the Building to Net-Zero cohort. These cases explore the incremental capital and life-cycle costs of higher-performance buildings, while also considering health and market-specific conditions. Fin MacDonald and Andrew MacDonald from Urban Equation will present key findings that highlight real-world challenges, trade-offs, and opportunities from across Canada. Gain practical insights from municipalities using evidence-based data to inform decision-making, budgeting, and long-term planning on the path to net zero.
